OS is Linuxmint 18.3 Cinnamon 64bit (dual boot Windows 10 not used)
Linuxmint is derivative of Ubuntu
Anbox seemed to install properly with terminal command
User@mycomputer~$ snap install --classic anbox-installer && anbox-installer
After the required reboot, clicking on the Anbox icon brings up the “Starting…” splash screen but does not proceed from there. Terminal commands like anbox version, anbox session-manager give the same error message 3 times. it is
ERROR: ld.so: object ‘libesets_pac.so’ from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored.
though anbox session manager also include
[ 2018-02-10 06:50:27] [daemon.cpp:58@Run] bind: Address already in use
When I look for libesets_pac.sp this seems to be associated with my virus software ESET NOD 32
right clicking on the anbox icon then “uninstall” leads to something like “no associated application”
