Fedora 27 - After Snap install, anbox-installer gives execv failed

#1

After installing Anbox via: snap install --classic anbox-installer it is not available for install.

When I execute anbox-installer It replies:

execv failed: No such file or directory

If I try to install it again via: snap install --classic anbox-installer it replies:

snap “anbox-installer” is already installed, see “snap refresh --help”

which anbox-installer replies:

/var/lib/snapd/snap/bin/anbox-installer

Any idea as to what’s going on here?

I had the same issue and after running an strace, noticed that anbox-installer is trying to run snap-exec from /usr/lib/snapd/… while it’s under /usr/libexec/snapd/…
I just soft linked /usr/libexec/snapd to /usr/lib… and voila

hope this helps
